Hi, I’m Elizabeth.
I’m an anxiety and trauma therapist providing online therapy in Maryland and in-person in Roland Park, Baltimore! I help perfectionists and people-pleasers to repair, heal, and strengthen their relationship with themselves and those around them. We all have life experiences that shape who we are, how we view the world around us, and inform our emotional responses.
There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to therapy, every individual is unique and has their own wants and needs for this process, so I use a collaborative approach to figure out what works best for you. Together we can discover what’s going on under the surface and better understand your emotions and why you’re feeling what you’re feeling! Through talking it out, creating art, journaling, mindfulness, and EMDR, I help clients dive deeper to gain increased insight into themselves. We can expand your toolbox with new skills and ways of knowing yourself to find a sense of confidence, inner calm, and joy to improve your overall wellness, relationships, and ability to show up fully in your life.
I have experience working with children, teens, college students, and adults facing anxiety, depression, and trauma. My therapy approach most closely aligns with a person-centered and strengths-based framework, with a trauma-informed foundation. I am deeply committed to social justice practices and unlearning of my own biases to show up fully and authentically in the therapy room. I will always advocate for LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals and communities, and clients with these experiences will be welcomed and valued within my practice.
Sessions with me may include empowerment, creativity, growth, metaphor, collaboration, and humor and laughter.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist, Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor, and a Registered Board-Certified Art Therapist.
Outside of my work, I enjoy the arts, reading, reality tv, animals, and spending time with friends (and my dog). I am an artist myself and create art to express myself and process my experiences.
